This Privacy Policy explains how awardPilot handles information for the service. It is provided for product launch readiness and should be reviewed by legal counsel before broad public launch.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as email address, authentication identifiers, billing status, workspace settings, vendor profile details, opportunity statuses, chat messages, uploaded files, source document text, and usage information needed to operate the service.
How We Use Information
We use information to authenticate users, maintain workspaces, sync procurement sources, score opportunity fit, support AI-assisted review, process subscriptions, provide support, improve reliability, and protect the service from abuse.
AI Processing
awardPilot may send relevant profile, opportunity, source document, uploaded file, and chat content to AI providers so the service can generate capability suggestions, fit analysis, and chat responses. Do not upload sensitive information unless it is necessary for your use of the service.
Service Providers
We use third-party providers to operate the service, including Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication and data storage, Stripe for billing, OpenAI for AI features, Postmark for email, and public procurement sources such as SAM.gov, Cal eProcure, Caltrans, and selected local portals.
Billing Data
Payment details are handled by Stripe. awardPilot stores subscription identifiers and billing status, but does not store full payment card numbers.
Data Retention
We retain workspace data while an account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security. Users may request deletion through the app or by contacting support.
Your Choices
You may request correction, export, or deletion of your information by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal, billing, or operational reasons.
California Privacy Notice
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and limit certain uses of personal information depending on applicable law. awardPilot does not sell personal information in the ordinary meaning of that term.
